Anse Chastanet is nestled within a 600 acre private plantation on St.Lucia's southwest coast. All 49 rooms are individually designed with no two rooms looking the same in appearance, 37 of the rooms are scattered about on the lush hillside with over 100 steps down to the beach level while the other 12 are set in a tropical garden at beach level. The use of local materials is emphasised in the room decor and furnishings, with cushions and bedspreads being made from Madras, the island's national cloth.
