Nisbet Plantation Beach Club is located on the island's reef protected North Shore which is just a 5 minute drive from the airport. The colonial mansion was built back in 1778 and was originally home to the celebrated war hero, Admiral Horatio Nelson. The mansion is still the centrepiece of this former sugar plantation which sits in 30 acres of lush gardens and on a mile of amazing white-sand beach.
Although the property occupies a large space, there are only 38 guest rooms in total, providing an unparalled sense of privacy and freedom. Relaxing and easy living are the soul pursuits of the day with tennis and croquet being among the activities available. Snorkelling just off the beach is a must; explore the amazing protected offshore reef with its array of colourful corals and various types of marine life. Enjoy guided hikes and climbs through natural rain forests, along wooded trails and up Nevis's popular mountain peaks. Fine dining is a priority at the plantation, which is reflected in five course dinners at The Great House. Nisbet Plantation is an intimate resort where relaxation is the main priority which makes it a perfect destination for couples and honeymooners
