Komandoo, located 130 km north of Male International Airport, is an idyllic private island retreat in the Maldives, a haven of charm and elegance, only 100 metres wide and 500 metres long, with attractive sugar white sand banks on both ends. The transfer is a scenic 40 minute seaplane flight.

Komandoo Island Resort opened in 1998 and offers spectacular accommodation. The spacious air-conditioned villas with all modern amenities are tastefully decorated. Every villa has a terrace overlooking the white powdery beach and the clear turquoise water.

Komandoo is a popular honeymoon destination and boasts excellent scuba diving and watersports facilities. For the sports enthusiasts the resort provides a small gym and other facilities such as badminton, table tennis, volleyball and darts. Alternatively there are lots of excursions to choose from including Night Fishing, Luxury Sailing and trips to local islands.
