Angsana Resort and Spa Velavaru is located on South Nilandhe Atoll (Dhaalu Atoll) and is a 40 minute seaplane ride from the airport in Male.

"Velavaru" translated as 'Turtle Island' in Madivian, is an idyllic Island located in the South Male Atoll surrounded by a turquoise lagoon that washes up on to the golden beaches. Being here feels like your thousands of miles away from any thing else, ideal for couples who want to get away from it all, to do as much or as little as you choose. Dhaalu Atoll is one of the more untouched Atoll's in the Maldives, taking time out to explore the reefs and other Islands are a must.
